Will & Linda Fraser | July 11th 2015 Wedding

Will and Linda are truly the most relaxed and easy going couple EVER, both with a sense of humor similar to my own. They made it very clear that they didn't want any "DIY Pinterest-y" type photos including those "unstable, ladder reception decorations." (Hint * Check out some of the reception pictures below!) They simply wanted to enjoy the day celebrating with their family and friends, but no kids! Linda wanted to specify, it's not that they don't "like" children but they just wanted it to be  a fun, adult event for all. The ceremony was held at St. George's Anglican church in Fort Langley. It is a gorgeous church with dark wood and stained glass windows throughout. They had their band mates play beautiful music throughout the ceremony and reception. From there we went down to the river to capture all the family photos. Considering all the heat we have had lately it was odd to have very cool and comfortable weather on their wedding day! It started to rain (slightly!) as soon as we were heading to the Fort Langley Hall for the reception and some more formal photos. Will and Linda were pleased with their super basic timeline of events because it allowed things to not be rushed and they had lots of extra time to hang out and enjoy the events of the day. Many of Will's hockey teammates were in attendance and their reception was a LOT of fun...I will let the photos speak for themselves...

Summer Family Session

Jenny contact me looking to get some family photos done. I planned fully expecting it to be very hot out the day of our session and boy was it ever! We have had record highs this summer (can you even call it summer? Summer just began!) and forest fires are in abundance. Thus we planned an early morning session, which is also perfect for those with younger children. We met at Historic Stewart Farm in Surrey at 9 am. It was a rather manageable temperature when we started and towards the end of our session is started getting pretty muggy. The kids were SUCH troopers, following my every demand for smiles and goofy poses. It was such a joy being able to photograph and meet such an easy going and loving family. Jenny and Clayton sure have some cute children!

Mason | 4 Months

The love that Masons parents have for him is immeasurable, he is their rainbow baby. Mason pulled out his serious model poses for me in the studio. He wasn't about to crack a smile, he was taking his job very seriously! The day of this session is was 34+ outside, which is very rare for BC weather. We were all VERY thankful for AC in the studio. We did venture outside for a *few* minutes to get a few outdoor photos also.
