McGovern | Family Session

I had the pleasure of doing a session with Caleb and Sarah and their lovely Grandma Dolores a few weeks prior. Now it was time for a bit more quality time with this lovely family, including mom and dad! The weather is always a bit of a juggle in October around here, but we ended up lucking out with no rain! We headed to Williams Park in Langley and it was fairly empty due to previous weather, which was perfect! We REALLY wanted to have the fall colors incorporated and they stuck just long enough for us to capture it. Caleb and Sarah are such gems and were so much fun to photograph! This is part #1 of the blog....part to will have to wait until next week with something a little extra special!

Miranda & Craig Fleming | Second Shooting Wedding

It is not often that I get to second shoot or assist for another photographer at a wedding because I am often shooting my own. But my wedding season had just come to an end the weekend prior when I got an email from Carla. She needed a last minute assistant/second shooter for her upcoming wedding the next weekend. It is a lot of fun second shooting for other photographers because you can learn so much from the way they do things and also it is a *little* less pressure. The weather was typical fall weather in Vancouver the day of Miranda and Craigs wedding, rainy, cloudy, windy and random patches of sunshine. The ceremony took place on the top of Science World in Vancouver, BC overlooking False Creek. The rain held of *mostly* for family photos which we had a beautiful sunset for despite the poor weather. The wedding attendees were at least 30-40% children, which for those of you who know me that is my favorite!  The reception took place inside Science World among all the gidget gagets, so cool! Thank you Carla of Carla Elaine Photography for letting me second shoot and assist for you.

Kramer | Family Session

Meet the Kramer family. Man are they a lovely bunch. They came out from Richmond to Derby Reach for their family session. Fall leaves were still out and the rain held off for our Sunday afternoon session. Check out a few sneak peaks below.

Helmer | Family Session

Fall is full of family sessions and I wouldn't want it any other way! Those leaves are GORGEOUS but sadly they do not last long in the LowerMainland. I absolutely love bright fall colors. The Helmer family was so much fun to get to know in the short time I was able to spend with them. They are so easy going and full of life. Check out some sneak peaks below.
