Will and Linda are truly the most relaxed and easy going couple EVER, both with a sense of humor similar to my own. They made it very clear that they didn't want any "DIY Pinterest-y" type photos including those "unstable, ladder reception decorations." (Hint * Check out some of the reception pictures below!) They simply wanted to enjoy the day celebrating with their family and friends, but no kids! Linda wanted to specify, it's not that they don't "like" children but they just wanted it to be a fun, adult event for all. The ceremony was held at St. George's Anglican church in Fort Langley. It is a gorgeous church with dark wood and stained glass windows throughout. They had their band mates play beautiful music throughout the ceremony and reception. From there we went down to the river to capture all the family photos. Considering all the heat we have had lately it was odd to have very cool and comfortable weather on their wedding day! It started to rain (slightly!) as soon as we were heading to the Fort Langley Hall for the reception and some more formal photos. Will and Linda were pleased with their super basic timeline of events because it allowed things to not be rushed and they had lots of extra time to hang out and enjoy the events of the day. Many of Will's hockey teammates were in attendance and their reception was a LOT of fun...I will let the photos speak for themselves...

Joanne & Aaron Miller| April 5th 2015
Joanne and Aaron are the quiet, easy going, fun loving type of people. Throughout the day Aaron would say "Ask Joanne, she's the boss." And Joanne, is such a timid, personable type of person. Ultimately they just wanted to celebrate their special day surrounded by their close friends and family. They had chosen a smaller, more intimate setting for their special day. The day started with getting ready photos in Richmond with Joanne, her parents, make up artist, hair stylist and her daughter at her parents home. Her daughter is such a sweet and energetic little girl. Sitting still for over an hour to get yourself all glammed up is a hard task for a 5 year old, but she did it well!
Then we headed into downtown Vancouver on a beautiful sunny spring day. The ceremony was held at the Chapel at Stanley Park . Family and friends gathered to celebrate Joanne & Aaaron and make it official! Then we headed over to the water, only steps away from the ceremony to get some family and bridal party photos.
Then we headed off to the reception in Burnaby at Baci Ristorante. The owners are the most genuine, friendly and caring people, along with their tremendous staff. The food was phenomenal, all 6 coarses of it! True Italian meal. The night continued with speeches, lots of dancing and a special Jewish traditional dance called an Hora. Note the last few photos! I cannot wait to follow the path that life takes you Joanne and Aaron, thank you so much for letting me be apart of your special day!
Thank you SO much to Liz from LC Photography for second shooting with me.
