Derek and Michelle are two of my favorite people. They could not be anymore perfect for each other. The entire time they would look at each other and say "You're cute," and "no you're cute." I should have counted how many times they said it! That is just SO them. They are the most easy going and fun-loving goofballs I know. My kind of people! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in a few short weeks. I will let the photos speak for themselves...
Peterson | Family Session
Lisa contacted me a few weeks back to organize a family session. Her children are older now (she has two beautiful daughters) and have spread out a bit across the country. Jenna (her eldest) went out to the East coast for school and now has no immediate plan of returning (she met a fellow!) So, when all siblings are at home for a visit it calls for a family session. And we also had the pleasure of their 92 year old grandma joining us - what a treat! We lucked out with a stunning sunny day in Langley at Derby Reach Park.
Resende | Maternity Session
Daniele called me a few months ago wanting to set up a maternity/family session - it was her second (and last) child and she want to document it. She had been following me on Instagram for a while - crazy! Just ONE year ago she moved to White Rock, BC from Rio De Janiero, Brazil. Why did she move you ask? Several years back, her now husband (a pilot) was vacationing in Brazil for 4 weeks when their paths crossed. He met her at her workplace - where she found local accommodation for visiting tourists like himself. They got married and she made the leap to move to White Rock last year. Although she misses home, she says really loves BC. Check out some sneak peak from their session below.
Crissy & Spencer | April 9th 2016 Puerto Vallarta Wedding
I had the honor of photographing Crissy & Spencer's wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Their intimate wedding was celebrated by some of their closest friends and family at the Crown Paradise Club . Not only did their friends and family get to witness their marriage ceremony but also spend the entire week with them celebrating. The ladies got ready in the honeymoon suite. The ceremony was held right on the sandy beach amongst the bright 32+ degree heat. Dinner was held at the local resort Italian restaurant with a 3 coarse dinner. As sun set we captured some more photos during golden hour - even on a horse! Their reception was situated on the pier surrounded by the ocean waves and the sun as is it went down.
