Amber contacted me not too long ago to book a maternity session. Her and Alan just recently moved to Mission and are expecting their first baby in 2 short weeks! They really want some sort of water for their backdrop and Alhouette Lake was the best choice by a long shot! It is one of my favorite locations with the mountains in the background. But, during summer months you have to be extra keen and get there super early before the beach is flooded with people and a whole lot of sunshine. Amber and Alan were so much and completely game to try all my crazy ideas. I look forward to following their journey as they become parents.

I have had the honor of photographing this precious family several times and was SO excited to get Danelle's email sharing that they were expecting! Danelle and Fred are such a great example of parents who exude patience, generosity and love selflessly. Hope wasn't overly keen for a photoshoot but eventually warmed up to the idea! However, like Danelle said "It is not about forcing her to do anything, it is Hope regardless and that is how we want our photos to be represented. We will remember them for years regardless." Love it!
