James & Jessica | 05.08.17

I have known Jessica for a long time and when I finally had the chance to meet James I knew they were a perfect match! They compliment each other so well! Jessica is such a bubbly, fun-loving and kind individual. James is calm, has a quiet demeanor but loves deeply. They celebrated amongst their close family and friends on their family property in South Langley. It was a true farm wedding with hay bails, cowboy hats and even a gator (see photos below!). I had a hard time narrowing down all the photos - but here is a sneak peak!

Devon & Sandra | 22.07.17

Oh hi! I know it has been FOREVER since I last blogged. This summer (well year!) has been a busy one....real busy! But I couldn't help but post a sneak peak of Devon & Sandra's summer wedding. I met Devon & Sandra over 1.5 years ago for their engagement session and this past weekend we celebrated their big day! As soon as we (my assistant and I) arrived at their family property in Maple Ridge we were welcomed by so many beautiful people. Their entire family and bridal party was so easy to work with - just like them! They had planned every detail to completely reflect their style/personalities: kids table, open bar, cocktail reception etc... simple but elegant. Again, just like them! It was a true honor to be a part of their day and I loved every minute of it! Now lets let the photos speak for themselves....( I had a hard time narrowing them down....)

Clint & Brieanne | Sept 3rd 2016

Ah! It has been a while since I last blogged (Sorry!) This summer has been a busy one. Alas - here is Clint and Brieanne's gorgeous Kamloops wedding. Meagan (my killer assistant!) and I drove up from the Lower mainland Friday night to photograph Clint and Brieanne's Saturday wedding. The ladies got ready at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel and the men got ready at their home in the Westsyde area of Kamloops. The ceremony and reception were held at Harpers Trail Winery and what a stunning venue it was! Rolling hills, lushes vineyards and mountain backdrops were perfectly suited for Clint and Brieanne. They compliment each other so well. They are both selfless, generous and very well loved individuals. This was quite evident throughout their entire wedding day. All their friends and family are easy-going and simply were there to partake and celebrate the love between the two of them. And, their friends and family sure know how to have fun! *Check out the last section of photos - the dance floor was BUMPING for hours!!*

Derek & Michelle | Wedding

Derek and Michelle contact me several months ago asking if I would be there wedding photographer - instantly I wanted to say YES! But then they told me the location - Washington state. Again, beautiful location - but alas I am not legally allowed to work in the USA. Boo. Several weeks later Michelle messaged me asking me again if I would photograph their wedding - they SWITCHED LOCATIONS! Instead they decided to go with something low-key and local. Their friends and family gathered around on a VERY hot June day at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. It was super casual, very easy going and SO THEM. When I first met Derek and Michelle at their engagement session I couldn't have gotten along any better with them. They both have very carefree, warm-hearted and easy going spirits about them. Friends and family from near and far came to celebrate their marriage. And when the officiant asked "Can we please have your witnesses come and sign the paper," Michelle piped up "Friends, someone come sign this thing!" And about 10 minutes into portraits she said "time to kick off these heels." *See last photo*
