I met Kerstina in high school when I moved to Langley from Saskatchewan over 15 years ago. Several years passed after we graduated high school and Kerstina and I met up to catch up on life. We met at a pub that frequented karaoke competitions - they (the pub) were clients of mine and Kerstina competed in many of their competitions. But lets just say the majority of our conversation or "catch up" revolved around a "guy named Diego" (her boyfriend at the time) - I don't blame her! I finally got to meet Diego at their engagement session and I was truly able to understand why Kerstina was head over heels for Diego, they're a perfect match for each other!!
Their wedding was in the works for a while and man does Kerstina have many of the same personality traits as me: planner, organizer and a visionary. I loved it! I met the girls at Kerstinas parents in Burnaby to photograph Kerstina and her girls getting ready. The oh-so-talented Meagan met the guys at his family home in Whiterock to capture the guys preparing for the big day.
They decided to do a "first" look and formal photos prior to their ceremony. So we headed to Kwomais Park in South Surrey.
After formal photos we headed to the ceremony and reception site: Morgan Creek Golf Course. Their grounds are stunning and the weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Check out all the smiles (oh and a few tears!) below:
